Many resources and tools that used to be only available in the library are now available through the library's computers or from your home. This means you can access these tools any time day or night at your convenience. You will use your 14-digit library card number for initial log on or registration. I f you have trouble logging on, don't hesitate to ask a staff member for assistance.

Create Legal Documents: Law Depot
  Create legal documents specific to NH Laws including documents for Wills/Power of Attorney, Sales/Transactions, Leasing/Renting/Real Estate, Business/Employment, Marriage/Cohabitation, Consent/Release, and more!  Law Depot guides you through every step of creating a document that conforms to your situation.  You will be able to print documents and return to previously created documents (like a rental agreement) to edit.

Magazine & Journal Search: EBSCO
Over 3,000 magazines and scholarly journals available to search.  Most articles are available in full text or .pdf form.  You can create lists of useful articles, e-mail or print articles and search specific magazines or journals.  This is a very expensive resource available to you for free!  Need a Consumer Reports article?  You can find it here.  Doing a report on the Middle East?  Find current articles here.  Want to read articles from the latest issue of the Atlantic Monthly?  Do it here.

MorningStar Mutual Funds
The print resource you trust for Mutual Fund information and news is available online with many advanced features. *Please pick up the user name and password at the library.



Ancestry.com
Use this tool to research your family history with access to census records, vital records, immigration records and maps and photos.  This database is only available on library computers, not from home.  You will find the user ID and password posted at the library's public computers.



Heritage Quest
Another genealogy tool;  This one you can access from home as well as in the library.  The database includes searches of census records, PERSI, family histories, Revolutionary War era documents and records of the Freedman's Bank.

Why can't you just give me the User ID & Password on the Web site?
This service is only available to NH library users through a contract between the database providers and the Library. For that reason, we can't make the User ID & Password available via the Web, where anyone could access that information.
