to the public.
Upcoming Programs for Adults:
- Chocolate Lovers’ Cookoff, Tuesday, Feb 14, 2 – 5 pm in Friends of the Library Reading Area You are invited to sample delicacies of the chocolate persuasion and vote for your favorites as Library and Town of Stratham staff offer their favorite creations in this tasty “competition”. Recipes will be available.
- Feng Shui for Landscaping, Wednesday, Feb 15, 6:30 pm Certified Feng Shui Master Practitioner Helena Banat will show you how to apply Feng Shui to your landscaping.
Other Library News:
- More E-books available! We have started adding "Stratham-Only" titles to the OverDrive collection so wait-times will be shorter (or nonexistent!) on those titles if you have a Stratham library card. ~We want to know what titles you want us to add! ~Fill out our Purchase Suggestion Form on our website and select "ebook" as the format.
- Shelving by Type of Novel in Adult Fiction: We are in the process of organizing the adult fiction collection by the type of novel, so if you love Sci-Fi and Fantasy books, you will now find those books together (they are listed as SF in the catalog). The sections for Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Horror, and Graphic Novels are complete, and the Mystery/Suspense section is underway. Because this is a particularly large section, it will take a while to complete. In the meantime if you can’t find what you’re looking for, please ask at the front desk and we’ll be happy to help you find it.
From the Children’s Room: The Children’s Room is hopping with activities to get families through the Winter doldrums and the rest of the school year!~

- Stratham Voices Project: What’s your story? We want to collect stories about Stratham and the Library Past and Present and make those stories easy to share. We also want to preserve the memories and recollections of our veterans to be shared with the community. Wouldn't it be great to hear what it was like to go to school in Stratham in the 1950s? Don't you wish your kids or grandkids could hear your stories about summers when you were a child? What if years from now your child could hear himself reading his first book out loud? It would mean so much to today and tomorrow to have our veterans' stories preserved for the future. To find out more, click on the Stratham Voices Page link on the library’s website.
- Are you a TD Bank Customer?~ You can support your library without spending a dime! The Wiggin Memorial Library is now part of the TD Bank Affinity Program – You can choose the library as one of your supported organizations and TD Bank will make an annual donation to the library.~ It costs you nothing and the only thing you need to do is contact TD Bank (ANY branch, anywhere) once and let them know that you want to be part of the Affinity Program and add Wiggin Memorial Library (Code: A2215) as your affiliated organization.~ Get more information at the library, at TD Bank (778-4278). Thanks for all of your support!!
